OK, I guess if you want something done you have to do it yourself. Here's the story: "Crudville" was recently put on the shelf until other projects were completed. Now it's being worked on again. Right now it appears that Mojo Nixon will be joining the cast, and a pilot script will be written after fitting Mojo's character into the lineup.
Regarding Mike Ness's involvement: the "Crudville" the "Crudville" folks said "Hopefully we will have some good news to report very soon." I'm not really at liberty to discuss specifics of the conversation, but it's more than just Mike providing a voice.
Dammit, how many of you people live in Southern California, and why do *I* have to find out what's going on in the entertainment industry?

I was reading some book a while back about the origins of the socal punk scene...and Matt Groening was in the book making commentaries about the early days...so he was around in some capacity back then...
just a little tidbit about how the Crudville thing and Mike could be related...
oh, and another thing I learned from this book was..
Mike makes a comment on some CD I have, cant remember which one, on how 'this goes out for Robert...who was there in the early days...'
Robert is some guy who lived with Mike and another guy in some rat hole apartment. I guess they pretty much trashed the place. I thought it was interesting to finally make the connection and find out who Robert was!

I don't know if it's the same Robert, but I always thought he was referring to Robert Taminy. In fact, I asked Taminy if he was referring to him on the Live at the Roxy album and he said yes. Robert used to be Mike's bodyguard and I think his best friend. Don't know why they are not friends anymore. Always wondered....but Robert owns a sober home called the Blue House. He's a really cool guy. I haven't seen him in a couple years, I would love to run into him again.
